My background is in literature, theater, and screenwriting where I first began to learn the craft of storytelling. In 2006 I entered the triple-A videogame industry where I’ve held roles such as narrative designer, lead writer and narrative director. Over the years I’ve expanded my skillset to also cover to narrative design and IP- and franchise development, and I’m keenly aware of the challenges posed by games as a storytelling medium.
Since going freelance in 2017 I’ve continued to work with games, but I now also write for television, movies and comic books. Each medium presents its own set of unique challenges and opportunities, and the more I learn about the craft, the more humbled I am by the power of story and its capacity for affecting and transforming an audience.
