We will have a designated photographer during the wedding ceremony and we kindly ask you focus on the ceremony rather than taking pictures. And we will of course share pictures from the ceremony with everyone afterwards. However, during the mingle and party taking photos is encouraged, and we’d love for you to share them here after the wedding:

💒 The Church: Raus Kyrka, Kyrkvägen 1, 255 92 Helsingborg
🍴 The Dinner & Party: Pålstorps Gård, Pålstorpsvägen 170, 253 73 Gantofta
🏨 The Hotel: Hotell Mollberg, Stortorget 18, 251 14 Helsingborg
Hotel Mollberg is located about a 15 min cab ride from Raus church. You can also take a bus, e.g. No. 2 to the church, but then the total travel time, including walking, is about 40 minutes. At the end of the evening we have arranged for 3 bus departures from the party to Hotel Mollberg at one-hour intervals starting at midnight. Should you want to leave at another time, it is always possible to call a cab.
We recommend:
Taxi Kurir – https://boka.taxikurir.se/en/
Sverigetaxi – https://boka.sverigetaxi.se/en/
If you are traveling by car, parking is available in the areas circled in red below (Raus Kyrka, the church at the top and Pålstorps Gård, where the party will be, at the bottom):

While we love the idea of anyone honoring us with a speech, we kindly ask you to limit them (or any other performance) to 3 minutes in length. Please time yourself at home at least once as we will need to be strict with this (boring) rule.
Our wonderful toastmasters Carl and Susanna should be notified if you plan to speak (or sing, or juggle, or…). They can be reached here: toastmasterMC@gmail.com
Our dress code is semi-formal to dressy casual. The Swedish equivalent would be Kavaj to Udda kavaj. In short, please dress up as much as you like while still feeling comfortable, relaxed and happy.
And as the dinner and party will be held in a garden we don’t recommend sharp heels, since these might sink into the lawn.
You joining us on this special day is all we wish for. With that said, if you still want to give us something, we would humbly appreciate contributions to toward the restoration of the (very) old half-timbered farmhouse at Pålstorps Gård where we hope to spend many future summers. Guided tours available upon request.
For those of you who wish to travel by air we recommend Copenhagen Airport as the airport train from there goes all the way to Helsingborg (a trip of about one hour). If you fly domestically, Ängelholm Airport is also an option and there is an airport coach leaving for Helsingborg in connection with most arriving flights.
The wedding will take place just south of the city of Helsingborg, about 15 minutes by car from the city center.
We have arranged for discounted accommodation at Hotell Mollberg in Helsingborg. It’s located smack in the city center, with only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station.
Please use this link to book (and be aware that only the Friday is preselected, so make sure to select both Fri and Sat if you intend to stay the full weekend):
We aim to be in the bar of Hotel Mollberg on Fri evening the 16th, at around 9pm – please join us for drinks if your able! And if we don’t make it (due to party prep and toddler chaos…) you can use that opportunity to get to know each other!
Here are some suggestions for things to see and try out in and around Helsingborg:
Kärnan – The Castle – clearly visible where it sits on top of a domineering hill in the center of town, this medieval fortress commands an exellent view of all of Helsingborg, provided you have the stamina to climb the 146 steps to the top.
Helsingör – Ironically, one of the most popular pasttimes in Helsingborg is to leave town and go by ferry across the strait to the small Danish sister town of Helsingör. There you’ll find Kronborg Castle – the setting of Hamlet. Make sure you try a Danish red hot dog, and then follow it up with an actual Danish. And then maybe a couple of Danish beers. And you won’t have to eat again for a week.
Mölle and Kullen – If you’re feeling adventurous we can heartily recommend going about 45 minutes north along the coast to the nature preserve called ”Kullen”, and the small town of Mölle. Kullen is great (and exhausting) for hiking, and if you really want to explore you can try to find your way to the otherwordly art pieces Arx and Nimis hidden away on a secluded shore.
Some good restaurants in Helsingborg:
Nabo
Culis (Frenchish)
Zushi
Regio (Italian)
L’Enoteque (small dishes and excellent wine)
Benchwarmers (beer and pizza)
Sillen & Makrillen
